Searching the Truth

Why was God's Will hidden?

God's Will is hidden from people, through bad teaching, bad conversations with people, bad society, bad discussions, harmful prejudices. This happened because first error appeared, then lack of piety, unbelief, debauchery (lawlessness), greed, vanity. This and thousands of other things have obscured God's Will.

It has been like this for a long time, but it is still like this now - look at the latest changes in the Bible - just the translations: you have tax collectors, and it was changed to pagans in some editions of the scripture, you have endowed with grace, and it was changed to full of grace and many other things.
Because of such changes, bad teachings have appeared - the cult of images, the cult of Mary, etc.
Bad conversations - e.g. determining what is sacred, debauchery - bypassing the Law of God. Greed - selling out to the authorities, your own interests, etc.
All this has obscured the true Will of God, so that we can turn to God, to get to know Him and the description that He Himself has given of Himself, to know what is good.

Therefore, lovers of the Truth need someone who will be a light, enabling us to see the Truth.

This someone is the Lord Yeshua, who speaks about the Truth, says what is the Truth, He alone was able to enlighten people, what is good for our soul, so that we can see the way of salvation with our own eyes.

Otherwise, it is impossible, because every doctrine is true or false based on the power of the one who presents it.

Such doctrines do not appear as they are, but take on the appearance of being True or False depending on who supports them.

Therefore, the Lord Yeshua had to come and show what is True, what is false, and we must trust Him in every matter. And we cannot judge what He says, but accept that it is true.

The Deceptive Search for Truth

According to the Apostolic teachings, anyone who has sought the Truth in religion alone has fallen into his own trap, trusting that he can find it on his own. But we are not able to do it on our own without the help of the Lord Yeshua and His teachings. That is why the philosophers who have sought it on their own have come to nothing.

Similarly, those who know the truth, while still seeking the truth, reject some of the assumptions that are presented to them and cling to others, as if they knew, while they do not know what is true and what is false.
But they dogmatize about the truth, even those who seek the truth, not knowing that the one who seeks the truth cannot learn it from his own wanderings. He cannot recognize it when he stands by it, because he is not familiar with it.
People are not convinced by what is true, but by what is pleasant convinces anyone who wants to learn from himself. Since one thing is pleasant to one and another to another, one thing prevails over another as truth, and another over the first. But truth is that which is approved by the Lord Yeshua, not that which is pleasant to each person.

Because otherwise what is one would be many, if pleasant were true, and this is impossible, because truth is one.

That is why the Greek "philosophers" - dealing with matters based on suppositions, dogmatized many and variously, thinking that the correct order of hypotheses is true, not knowing that when they attributed false beginnings to themselves, their conclusion corresponded to the beginning.

Wolves in sheep's clothing?

There are therefore strayed persons who were sheep, but decided to accept the office of the Lord Yeshua themselves, defining what is Truth, what is false. Based on their own suppositions, they spin cobwebs that are to catch other strayed sheep, becoming like wolves hunting them.

An apostle is a messenger, he can say as much as he was told, if he corrects the sender, changes His message, he is a false apostle.
